We are crazy about this place, always get the grilled cheese with tomato soup, quesadillas, drinks. It's a busy beach restaurant. But bartenders Dave & Robby are amazing; servers and hosts couldn't be better. The casual nature of this place lends itself to a true beach experience-- and reminds us all to slow down sometimes and just enjoy the view!

Great little spot at the north end of Venice to have an ice cold craft beer, soak up some sun, and people watch. Great ambiance - dogs welcome! The staff was super nice and helpful in beer selection.

Nice outdoor seating, chill, good beer options, and hard kombucha. Never ate so can't speak on the food.

Skate punks on beer...and quesadillas. IPAs, lagers, stouts, milk stouts and pilsners. All on tap and frosty good. We popped in for an ice cold one and were delighted to see the bar empty. Of course, it was 11AM but hey. Stroll in, siddown and have at it. Bartender knew his stuff - poured us a couple of tastes and off we strode into day-drinking bliss. It made sense to challenge the buzz with the introduction of grub so we scored a quesadilla. It was killer fresh! Crispy on the outside and delightful in the middle. Topped with pico de gallo, guac and rowdy fresh greens. SkateBoard on the BoardWalk to The Venice Ale House.

The DJ slaps. We quickly pivoted to the Venice Ale House after noticing a mile long line at the Waterfront. This was most definitely the best decision of the day! The seating is first-come first-serve and we got lucky enough to instantly snag a table outside for five. You order food/cocktails at the counter and then they're served directly to your table. Their menu is pretty freaking expansive with a variety of bowls, burgers, wraps, salads, and traditional bar eats. I ended up ordering the Malibu Burger and the Kentucky Lemonade. This cocktail packed a punch! I might just be getting old, but it was definitely a one-and-done type situation. The vegan burger was also well done (pun intended.) It came stacked with arugula and sliced beets, and a side of potato wedges. Fun tidbit: tip is included with every purchase! I wish they were more upfront about this.
